Primary sevens from Kirkcudbright Primary visited the Scottish parliament to sing for MSPs.

The group attended First Minister’s Questions last week before entertaining MSPs in the Parliament’s Garden Lobby with renditions of ‘The Circle of Life’, ‘Loch Lomond’ and Caledonia.

They were hosted by south Scotland MSP Emma Harper, who said: “The kids went into the chamber to watch First Minister’s Questions and went on a tour of the building, but the highlight was definitely performing in the Garden Lobby for a crowd of MSPs, government ministers and the Presiding Officer – and the performance was pitch perfect.”
