Re-appeal to trace missing man

POLICE continue to appeal for help to trace a man missing for the last month.

Ernestas Dagys, 42, is missing from Middlesbrough but his car was discovered at about 12 pm on February 27 in the Mull of Galloway car park.

Following that, searches were carried out in the area with specialist resources, including assistance from the RNLI and HM Coastguard.

Commenting, Inspector Stephen Judge said: “Four weeks have now passed since Ernestas was believed to have travelled to the Mull of Galloway area on Sunday, 25 February, and I am appealing for any information which may help us trace him.

“If you have been in the area since Sunday, 25 February please think back. Did you see someone matching his description? Please get in touch with any information you have.

“Ernestas, if you see this appeal, please make contact with police so we can ensure you’re safe and well.”

Ernestas is described as white, about five foot eight tall, of slim build with short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1241 of 27 February.
