Recognition for Minister

REV Gerald Moule has been presented with a certificate to mark the 50th anniversary of him becoming an ordained minister of the Church of Scotland and the United Reformed Church. The presentation was made by the Moderator of the Scottish Synod of the URC, the Rev Lindsey Sanderson, at the recent Synod meeting held at Tulliallan Police College.

Rev Moule was ordained by the Presbytery of Aberdeen on March 3 1974. He served as parish minister of Moffat and Wamphray from 1975-1999, followed by nine years in the URC at Richmond, Surrey and Thames Ditton before returning to Scotland in 2008.

Although retired, he continues to serve as locum minister of Cummertrees, Mouswald and Ruthwell.
