Rhona receives long service award

A DUMFRIES woman has received a long service award for working at Barchester Healthcare for 20 years.

Rhona Hanley is a kitchen assistant at Lochduhar Care Home and began working for Barchester Healthcare in 2003.

Since then, she has diligently worked with residents and their relatives for two decades to make sure their needs have been met.

Barchester employee services director Adele Keenan said: “I’m always pleased to hear stories about the long service of Barchester staff and I am delighted Rhona has achieved this milestone.

“It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live.”

Lochduhar general manager Gillian Ward added: “We’re delighted to be celebrating 20 years of loyal service with Rhona.

“She has demonstrated her dedication and loyalty to this home and its residents year after year.

“I speak for all of us here at Lochduhar when I say that I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Rhona.”
