Road works warning

ESSENTIAL geotechnical investigations will start on the A76 near Kirkconnel next week. The works are set to commence on Wednesday and run until Friday June 5, every day. It will require single lane closures managed by temporary traffic lights. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout. However, the scheme is weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if conditions are not favourable. Road users are thanked for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken by Amey.
