Meanwhile, Southwest Sailability Scotland and Galloway Activity Centre team up on Saturday May 21 to hold their yearly Disabled Open Day. Supported by the Royal Yachting Association Push The Boat Out
initiative, the day allows budding sailors to try their hand on the sails, with fully qualified instructors to guide and teach the basics.
Anyone with a notion to take to the waves, but who would require special access should come along and give sailing a try.
