Chris Muirhead, from CPM Joinery and Building Ltd, said: “We are exploring sensible redevelopment options for the former Greens site with the aim of bringing useful, sustainable facilities to Gretna and creating long-term local value.”
John added: “As a family business rooted here for generations, we care about what happens in Gretna.
“We are grateful to our neighbours, suppliers and customers for their continued support, and we look forward to seeing the site’s next chapter contribute positively to the town.”
A social media post, which can be viewed on the CPM Joinery Facebook page, asked for feedback and suggestions for the site.
Some of the initial ideas include a coffee shop or café space; mini supermarket or convenience store; hair salon/barbers; small gym or fitness space; converting existing rooms into affordable flats for elderly residents or first-time buyers; and developing part of the land for motorhome stopovers.
