Sellout smiles

A CHARITY ball this weekend is a sellout success with the organisers hoping to raise thousands of pounds.

Graham Smith, of Lochmaben, left, and Hardip Atwal, of Annan, are delighted at the support from across the region for their multicultural event. They said: “The multicultural ball at the Easterbrook Hall on September 14 is now officially a sell out. Thanks to everyone who has bought tickets and is supporting us. We have lined up some great entertainment and we hope you have a good night.”

The friends hope to raise thousands of pounds on the night for their chosen charities, Care of Police Survivors and Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes
