LOCHMABEN Primary School’s football team, the Spiders, are sporting a fresh new look thanks to businessman Rob Wade, of RJW Electrical.
He has kindly sponsored the team, providing them with brand-new jackets to keep them warm on the sidelines this season.
The Spiders are currently at the top of the local primary school football league.
Rob sponsors the Spiders and the broader primary school football league, ensuring many local pupils can enjoy the benefits of sport.
Coach Stephen Horne said, “We’re incredibly grateful to Rob for his support. The jackets have given the team a real boost, and it’s fantastic to see local businesses investing in the community.”
Rob, who has lived and worked in Lochmaben for many years, added: “Football is a great way for kids to build teamwork and confidence. I’m proud to give back to the community and see the kids thriving.”
With their new jackets and strong performances on the pitch, the Spiders hope to carry their momentum through the rest of the season. Lochmaben Primary pupils and staff have extended their thanks to Rob for his generosity.
