ANNAN Athletic earned another valuable League One point last Saturday with a second consecutive 1-1 draw away from home.
The Black and Golds came from behind to share the spoils with Stenhousemuir at a chilly Ochilview Park.
Gregor Buchanan opened the scoring for the hosts just after halftime, but Tommy Muir replied with a looping header 11 minutes later.
Stenny then had a penalty saved by Annan’s Jamie Smith.
And Annan played the remainder of the game with ten men after Aidan Smith was shown a straight red card for a mistimed challenge.
Athletic manager Wullie Gibson said: “I thought we actually played quite well today. We’ve seen it out and took a well earned point down the road.
“It was two very competitive teams. We take the point and we go down the road happy.”
