Squads taking shape

MID Annandale have returned for pre-season training ahead of the upcoming South of Scotland League season, and boss Craig Simpson is continuing to make additions to his squad.

Right back Euan Wright will be playing his football at New King Edward Park after joining from Bee Hive Reunited.

Goalkeeper Ciaran Boyes has also signed up after playing a few games for the team towards the end of last season.

Thomas Coates will play Saturday football after picking up coaches’ player and players’ player of the year awards at Ruthwell.

And striker Darren Monteith, a prolific goalscorer in the Dumfries Sunday League, has joined up following a spell with Abbey Vale in the last campaign.

Meanwhile, the versatile Cammy Dean has agreed to remain at the club for another year along with full back Marley Patterson.
