STORM Isha is on the way and due to hit Dumfries and Galloway on Sunday night.
The Met Office have issued an amber weather warning for very strong winds in the region through the night to Monday.
They are forecasting gusts of 50-60 mph, with 80 mph possible in coastal stretches.
Motorists should take care on the roads and limit their speed and the advice to everyone is to stay away from the coast.
