Sweet dreams for Danni

A FULL night’s sleep is not something mum Danni Taylor is used to at the moment with a five month old baby in the house.

But she’s going to have even less sleep later this month when she takes part in a charity sleep out.

Danni, from St Ann’s, will be snuggling into her sleeping bag in her garden overnight on November 20.

She hopes her efforts will raise money and awareness for End Youth Homelessness.

Explaining why, she said: “I sell Body Shop at home and it’s a charity that we as a company are trying to support and raise awareness for, so the company has decided to do the big sleep out to help raise more awareness and money to help support the youth.

“I’ve never done anything like this before.

“You can sleep anywhere apart from your bed but my thought was they unfortunately have to sleep out in the wet and cold so I will too.”

She has already raised £135 and has set herself a target of £150.

Danni added: “I shall only be in a sleeping bag, which is often a lot more than what many have.

“It’s freezing at night and these young people are having to sleep in it. There are 110,000 young people facing homelessness right now in the UK. I am giving up my bed for one night to show my support and raise much needed funds to provide them with a safe, stable home this Christmas.”
