Thieves steal £9k worth of tools

TOOLS valued at almost £9000 have been stolen from a workshop unit in Langholm.

The raid on the Buccleuch Mills site happened sometime between 12 pm on Tuesday and 8.30 am on Wednesday.
And the tools, which are used in a joiner’s workshop, consist of nail guns, drills, sanders, saws, circular saws and other tools.
Constable Richard Davidson, of Langholm Police, said: “It is clear that a vehicle must have been used to remove such a large amount of tools and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity at the Buccleuch Mills over this period to get in touch through the 101 number if they can help.”
