Toe-tapping music at Easterbrook

ENJOY some toe-tapping, hand-clapping music at the Easterbrook Hall with the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra (SFO).

The SFO has been at the forefront of traditional Scottish music for over 40 years.

Described as “Scotland’s leading fiddle orchestra” they perform annually in Scotland’s major concert halls as well as performing in England and Northern Ireland. Overseas tours include North America, Australia, New Zealand and China.

Under the baton of conductor Blair Parham, the 90-strong orchestra will share the stage of the Easterbrook Hall with guest performers and members of the Dumfries Pipe Band.

Join the orchestra for a guaranteed evening of world-class entertainment perfect for the whole family.

Music lovers of all ages can expect to enjoy toe-tapping reels and jigs, lively strathspeys and marches, and poignant slow airs performed by the skilled members of one of Scotland’s foremost traditional music organisations.

The SFO’s Easterbrook Hall performance starts at 7.30 pm on Saturday, April 5, for more information visit the orchestra’s website.
