A DOG show staged in Annan has once again proved a great success.

The Annan Riding of the Marches event held on Sunday at Victoria Halls in the town did not draw as big a turnout as previous years, but featured Queen of the Border Eli Kirkpatrick as a special guest.
The judge on the day was well known and respected bulldog breeder, exhibitor and judge Gail Westmorland from Southwaite in Cumbria.
Her best in show winner was Breeze, a rough collie owned by Jane Rycraft from Fallin in Stirling.

And Ann Gibson, of Glasgow, too the best puppy in show award with her German Shepherd Hamish.
