AN etiquette guide for dog owners has been produced by members of the Castle Loch Community Trust.
They are keen to promote good practice among those exercising their pets in the area.
And the new guide features simple steps which dog owners are asked to follow. They are:
Keeping the dog under control at all times as it is a nature reserve; keeping dogs on a lead in the sanctuary and kindergarden areas and around wildlife, as well as during nesting season from the end of March to end of July; keeping dogs under control when children or other dogs are around; and lifting of any waste and disposal of it.
Anyone with questions about the new guide can contact the trust via email at [email protected].
