DOZENS of tractors turned out for a charity road run around the region on Sunday.

The event was in organised by the families of the late Willie Dunlop and Gordon Carlyle, who both passed away during the lockdowns.

It started at Park Farm and went to Lochfoot, Milton, Southwick, Kirkbean and New Abbey, 39 miles in total.

In total, 86 tractors entered and over £4000 was raised for Maggie’s Cancer Centre and The British Heart Foundation.

Co-organiser Sandy Dunlop said: “We would like to thank everyone for their help, attending and most importantly for donating.”
