POWFOOT golfer Liam Carruthers came from behind to get his hands on the Club Championship trophy for a third time.
The scratch player, left, fought back from being five down after 23 holes to eventually win two up and lift the Annie Gowan Cup.
It was a tense final on Sunday, with Carruthers finding himself up against former club champion Andrew Shannon.
A total of 14 birdies were made by the pair over the 36-hole contest. Meanwhile, also on Sunday, Neil Wilson claimed the Seniors Quaich and Kevin Bell completed the winning trio by winning the veterans’ John Ramsey Trophy
