Tributes to Lauren after fatal crash

TRIBUTES have been paid to a young Annan mum who died in a road crash in Cumbria at the weekend.

Lauren Filer, 27, died after a two-vehicle collision on the A689 at Brampton on Sunday — with another driver still in a critical condition.
Lauren’s mother Senga Garthwaite this week said: “Lauren was a loving daughter and mother of two young daughters aged nine and four.
“She was a bubbly character who lived life to the max. She would do anything for anybody.
She added: “Her two young daughters were her priority and she will be sadly missed by all.
“She worked as a shop assistant at Greggs in Annan and she had a great rapport with customers and colleagues.”
The collision involved a Peugeot 208 being driven by Lauren and a Peugeot 207 at about 1.10 pm on the A689 close to the turn off for Walby Farm Park.
The 49-year-old male driver of the Peugeot 207 is described as being in a critical condition, while the 43-year-old woman and two children who were in his car are stable in the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
