Twenty-three bottles of whisky stolen

THIEVES snuck off with 23 bottles of whisky from Tesco’s in Lockerbie last week.

Police Scotland are investigating the theft of nearly £500 worth of whisky from the supermarket at 3.20 pm on Tuesday June 9.
A total of 23 bottles of The Famous Grouse and Whyte and Mackay whisky were stolen.
A man, not further described was seen at the aisle where the whisky is located around this time, and later seen walking away from the store.
Around this time a female, again no description, triggered the security alarm and had to return to the store to have her bags checked.
They may have been in each others company.
