Two sought after break in

POLICE say two people dressed in dark clothing were involved in a house breaking at Newbridge on Wednesday morning.

The property in Woodlands Cottages was broken into around 2 am that morning.

And from initial enquiries, officers say those involved ran off in the direction of the river.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have saw or heard someone or persons acting suspiciously in the near and surrounding areas.

Additionally, anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to review it between 1 am and 3 am and if the footage contains any form of suspicious activity, get in touch via 101 and quote reference 0192 of 26th August.
