STREET stalls and doorstep surgeries will be held by the local Conservatives one year on from the independence referendum.

Tomorrow and Saturday prospective Scottish parliamentary candidate Oliver Mundell will join his fellow party members to highlight their support for the United Kingdom.

Stalls will be erected in Annan, Moffat, Lockerbie, Langholm and Dumfries and Mr Mundell is keen to use the opportunity to hear the views of local residents and to demonstrate his personal commitment to Scotland’s place in the union.
