AN updated version of the Annandale Way guide has been released – and we have four copies to giveaway.
It contains route updates and has four extra pages and a selection of new photos.
However, the new guide is rainproof and lighter than the first.
It features nine pages of route mapping with detailed descriptions of what to expect from the terrain and distance, as well as details on habitats and wildlife, in addition to transport and accommodation information.
And it has been described as “the perfect companion” for anyone tackling the 56 mile Annandale Way, which starts in Moffat and goes down to Annan and the Solway Firth.
The book was written by Roger Turnbull, who lives on the Way and was the original founder volunteer ranger in 2011 and it’s published by Rucksack Readers. Many of the photos are by Lynne Kirton, who lives at Kinnelbanks.
* We have four copies of the new second edition to giveaway. Just tell us:
