Welcome to the Garden of Eden

A SELL-OUT crowd of 8000 people journeyed to Raehills Meadows last weekend for the eighth Eden Festival.

Gates opened last Thursday and today music lovers have begun their journeys home.

Year, on year, the festival has grown and now boasts 11 stages of music, art, theatre and family fun.

This year key acts included Mr Motivator, Skye and Ross from Morcheeba, Andreya Triana, King Charles, Gentlemans Dub Club and Craig Charles.

Founder and co-director Adam Curtis said: “I think the festival has been a resounding success, we have had a very good crowd this year, the atmosphere has been fantastic!

“There’s been a huge increase in young families attending which we very are happy to see, and we have had a great response to our young performers on the bandstands.”
