Vandals target village road signs

GRAFFITI artists have come under fire from council officials after spray painting signs welcoming people to the village of Templand.

Annandale North Councillor Graeme Tait is disgusted by the vandalism, which was highlighted to him by a local resident but has now been removed by Dumfries and Galloway Council.

He said: “I find this type of vandalism offensive, especially as the graffiti is on the main signs entering Templand.

“Thank you to the council employees who acted fast in removing the graffiti.”
