The incident occurred at a property in Callum Drive, Summerpark, on Thursday evening around 10.15 pm.
Officers believe two males used a black saloon type car to enter and leave the Summerpark estate.
Residents have ben urged by officers to come forward with possible information.
Officers are requesting if any neighbours or anyone in the surrounding areas that have CCTV or Dash Cam of footage from 9.30 pm onwards to come forward.
