MEMBERS of the RH Youth Organisation (RHYO) were honoured at a glittering ceremony at Lockerbie Town Hall on Saturday night.

MEMBERS of the RH Youth Organisation (RHYO) were honoured at a glittering ceremony at Lockerbie Town Hall on Saturday night.

It was first ever awards night for the youth organisation which runs extra-curricular activities in communities across Annandale.

Saturday’s event was in held in celebration and recognition of the achievements of its young members.

Following the event a spokesperson for RH Youth said: “We held our very first awards night and what a night it was! An amazing evening celebrating the achievements of our fantastic young people! So many awards were achieved, congratulations to everyone.

“RHYO team are so proud of every single member in our organisation. You show determination, resilience and hard work at sessions week in and week out and fully deserve all of your awards.

“The night was full of pride, happiness, celebrations, friendship and togetherness. It was so lovely to see everyone come together to celebrate and have fun!

“We have so many people we have to thank for making last night such a success!

“Finally, a massive thank you to our RHYO ambassadors Sam and Julie who planned, organised, booked decorations, gathered raffle prizes, secured sponsors, run the whole event. It was absolutely amazing”
